In great lucepan, the 1TBSp heat (15 ml) olive oil on average heat. Get sausage and sauté until the brown, for 5 to 7 minutes. Use the sloted spoon to remove in a dish. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and sauté for another 4 minutes. Add Barley and Stir 30 seconds to incorporate before adding a small amount of chicken stock. Increased heat to high and, with wooden tablespoon, scrape each piece brown from pan. Pour in rest of stock and bring to the bills. Reduce heat to heat-low and symmatic for 30 minutes, up to the barley is tender. Adjust the broccoli and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, up to broccoli is just tender.
